"Did Vince Lombardi come back and write that?" - John Fox pans Mark Kiszla's column
In today's Denver Post columnist, Mark Kiszla, ever the scamp, boldly suggested that John Fox and Jack Del Rio should consider scrapping their defensive system.
His column is headlined: "Broncos can fix dents in their defense with 3-4 alignment". The current scheme, plotted by the Broncos' brain trust, is a 4-3. But Kiszla feels that thier defensive players are better suited to do things his way.
In his piece he asserts: "The Broncos' defense is fundamentally and fatally flawed. The good news: It can be fixed, if coach John Fox is willing to think outside the box"
John Fox would probably like to place the meddling Kiszla inside a box and leave him there until the season is over. At Dove Valley's version of "Meet the Press" today, Fox said to Kiszla:"Did Vince Lombardi come back and write that?"
