Ah, what's better than NFL rumors?

The hot one making the rounds today via Pro Football Talk is that Joshie McDaniels would "jump at" the chance to coach the Cleveland Browns if they were to bid farewell to their current head man, Pat Shermer. Ironically, McHoodie replaced Shermer as the offensive coordinator of the Rams.

McDaniels is bound to get another crack at being the head coach of an NFL franchise eventually. If I were him I would wait for his dark overlord to retire in New England.

The Denver Broncos were on Thursday Night Football during the same evening hours during which Josh "the hoody" McDaniels was being informed of his termination two years ago. The joker was canned in the late afternoon on December 6, 2010.

Imagine that, Denver. Only two years ago we still hated our conniving head coach, players like Brandon Lloyd, Brandon Marshall and Jay Cutler were running for the exits, Tim Tebow was the future of the franchise and wins were hard to come by. Boy, have things changed around here.

Thanks, Mr. Elway. Happy Josh McDaniels is fired day, Broncos Country. This really should be a Holiday.

Shahid Khan would love nothing more than to finally remove the tarps that conceal thousands of empty seats in EverBank field on gamedays. In other words, the Jaguars owner would like to have Time Tebow.

Khan has made no secret of his desire to employ the former Florida star as his one and only, full time QB. For Khan there would be no "Tebow package". Tebow is the package. And there's no immediate pressure to win in Jacksonville. Khan and his fan base realize that the franchise will take time to turn around.

Pro Football Talk's Mike Florio speculates that, after a rocky season as the Jets' number two guy, that Tebow will be open to a trade to Khan's club. He might even insist on it. So who better to become the next head coach of the Jags than the guy who drafted Timmy, Josh McDaniels?

A Tebow / McDaniels reunion would sure be a story, wouldn't it?

For the Denver Broncos this season has been like some kind of nutty family reunion.  Why stop now?  Call Gary Kubiac and Wade Phillips and ask 'em to bring a green bean casserole.
