Why I am over hating Carmelo, By @Mrs__NBA

Our favorite NBA follow on Twitter is the always-hilarious @Mrs__NBA.  She's not only deeply knowledgeable about the league past AND present but she sees things with a fan's eye - which we always appreciate.  She's worthy of a follow not only for her basketball mind but for her unique insights on male / female relationships.  Toss her a follow - or an Afflalo, if you prefer.

@Mrs__NBA was kind enough to allow us to repost this entry from her blog, Measuring NBA Kicks Since 1946  over at Blogspot.

VIDEO: J.R. Smith injures his knee in China

We would never wish J.R. Smith any ill will.  He looks like a straight genius for escaping the NBA now.  He suffered a nasty injury today, though, playing ball in China.

Our friends at Denver Stiffs snagged a great interview with Nuggets coach George Karl tonight.  Good stuff.  George even weighs in on Josh McDaniels' firing.  Timely.  Nice job, Andrew.

Chris Andersen needs to change his name

I believe that it's time for Chris Andersen to pull an Ochocinco and legally change his name to Birdman.

How awesome would that be? His uniform would actually say "Birdman" on the back. I'm guessing he can download the forms on the internet.
