Joe Flacco has long asserted that he's an "elite" QB in the NFL. If the Ravens win the Super Bowl they'll need to pay him as though he is one. In fact, Flacco, who is still playing under his rookie contract and will be a free agent after the season, thinks he's worth more money than Peyton Manning, according to Pro Football Talk.
Ian Rapaport on NFL Network reports “I’m told his camp believes he is playing better than Peyton Manning.”
The Ravens could slap the franchise tag on flacco as a stop-gap, but they will eventually have to come to terms with the unibrow-ed QB.
