In his final press conference of the season, John Fox failed us. Rather than admitting that is was a mistake to take a knee with 31 seconds left in regulation, and two time-outs still in his pocket, Fox told reporters that he would have made the same decision ten times out of ten.
In other words, he refuses to learn from an obvious mistake. Fox is optimistic that Rahim Moore and others will make corrections in the future, but he apparently refuses to.
It's disappointing. True leaders can admit that they're fallable. All John Fox needed was to watch the Atlanta game on Sunday to know that he screwed up. His refusal to admit that is as maddening as the loss to the Ravens.
