It was a rather exceptional week for our pickers in the South Stands annual NFL pickoff VS the spread in that all but one, our guest picker, went above .500 on the week. In fact, if this were Vegas, and the fellows were betting for real, they would be looking halfway decent at this stage.

John Reidy won the week. He went an impressive 10-3-1 VS the spread, pulling himself into a tie for second place in the annual contest with Colin. They are both 81-73-5 for the season. Our Buddy Snyder leads the contest. After a week in which he went 9-4-1 VS the spread, his total for the season is 87-64-5, six games ahead of second place.

Scott Stafford has rattled off a few good weeks in a row and is, at long last, over .500 for the year. His record is 78-74-5 and climbing fast.

Our guest picker, @WoodyRoseland didn't fare as well, putting together a total of 6-7-1 on the week.
