If so, you can be among the "fans" the Broncos plan on catering to when they renovate two 32-person luxury suites which used to sell for $15,000 per game ($468.75 per ticket) - and convert them into six to eight smaller suites, each of which will sell for $60,000 per season. The planned improvements will generate ad additional $260,000 per year in revenue, according to Forbes.
It'll also mean more black Mercedes sedans in covered parking areas and Tommy Bahama golf shirt sporting, Rolex watch wearing patrons - just what every NFL team strives for. Rich folks help lure high-end sponsors. All us regular fans do is buy hot dogs.
The type of people these new suites are designed to accomodate are the reason stadiums get built in the first place. It's always about luxury boxes luring luxurious clientelle. The rest of us can sit on a concrete floor for all the teams care.
The Broncos are still waiting for the City to clear all the permits before work on the new suites begins, but they intend for them to be available by the time the season starts. And, with Manning at the helm, they'll sell every one.
