In this Denver Post story from 2010, then Metro State head men's basketball coach told the paper:
"Colorado is the job I really want". Well, he didn't get it. It was Tad Boyle who instead replaced Jeff Bzdelik for the Buffaloes.
Prior to that missed job opportunity Dunlap, then a Nuggets assistant, was turned down by Oregon State for thier top job.
Dunlap was most recently an assistant coach at Saint John's.
But now he works for Michael Jordan. That's right. The guy who could not get his hands on a Division 1 COLLEGE job will now be coaching in the NBA. Well, sort of. He was named the head coach of the Charlotte Bobcats today, according to numerous reports.
